About Volyhiy

Practical knowledge for real business

Volyhiy is a live webinar platform built around one subject: how businesses actually start and grow. We work with people who are figuring out their first steps — whether that means understanding cash flow, choosing a legal structure, or simply knowing what questions to ask before spending any money.

Volyhiy entrepreneurship webinar session

Where the platform came from

Volyhiy started in 2020 as a response to a straightforward problem: most entrepreneurship content online was either too abstract or too American to be useful for someone starting a business in Ireland. The webinar format was chosen deliberately — it keeps the conversation live and lets participants ask the questions that matter to their specific situation.

Sessions run in real time with facilitators who have worked directly with early-stage businesses. The topics stay close to the ground — pricing, customer acquisition, registering as a sole trader, reading a basic profit and loss — things that come up in the first twelve months.

"The questions people ask in live sessions are different from what they type into a search engine — and those questions are usually the more important ones."

01

Live format, no recordings

Every session runs in real time so participants can ask questions, get direct answers, and engage with the facilitator rather than watching a pre-recorded video alone.

02

Irish business context

Content is grounded in Irish tax rules, registration processes, and market conditions — not adapted from elsewhere, but built for the Irish context from the start.

03

Accessible from anywhere

Participants join from any county without travel. The platform is designed to work on standard broadband connections with no specialist software required.

04

Specific, not motivational

Sessions cover concrete topics — how to price a service, what VAT threshold applies, how to structure a simple business plan — not broad inspiration or generic advice.

What drives the work

Most people starting a business in Ireland do not need another course — they need answers to specific questions at the right moment. Volyhiy is built around that idea. The webinar format keeps content timely, the live interaction keeps it honest, and the focus on entrepreneurship keeps it useful for people who are actually building something rather than just thinking about it.
